HONDURAS WHAT TO DO?

Honduras, Central America, brother of nearly eight million inhabitants and with the highest rates of poverty and destitution in the Latin American continent (65 and 53 percent respectively), today suffers from most severe political crises of its history, exacerbated in recent days with the return of President Manuel Zelaya, after 86 days of shameful exile which was imposed by the de facto government of Roberto Micheletti and comparsa.

If it was a coup or was a "government coup" which overthrew Zelaya does not matter as much as if you are interested to know that now the people of Honduras is being savagely repressed, Pinochet-style, not only with bombs Tear-emetic and irritant - that timely has reached our "democratic" Peruvian President Alan García Pérez - but with bullets, torture and mass imprisonment, by the mere fact of asking the return of their president in power.

If in the last century hits are planned in the barracks, Today the overthrow of governments, military courts, are planned from the bodies of the civil power of the state. In the specific case of Honduras, the coup was hatched in the very heart of the congress and judiciary, in coordination with the Catholic Church and a small group of oligarchic families (real power) to control all the levers of economic and financial system and media. Of course the U.S. aid has not been absent, because, as we know, the airplane carrying the ousted president stopped at the U.S. base in Palmerola as they pointed out recently, Gen. Douglas Fraser , Command Chief U.S. South.

Certainly, the political situation in Honduras is now living very difficult but something must be done. What to do? In our view, we believe that the path of negotiation is not viable. The intentions of the UN, the OAS or the "San José Agreement" does not lead to a solution of the problem. The only actors that can determine the resolution of this crisis are the Hondurans themselves and more precisely, the working classes (peasants, workers, small industrialists, artisans, merchants, etc.) for students, housewives, civil servants, the intellectuals, artists, etc. All of which make the middle and "lower" (or "ordinary" as they say lately) are the only ones who can overturn this order of things for personal gain.

believe that the return of Zelaya's not enough. Honduras needs to urgently reform the structures of a state that perpetuates outdated bureaucratic domination, alienation and exploitation of the working masses. The convening of a constituent is an inescapable necessity, but also urges changes in the economy, politics and culture in general. Honduran society needs to conquer new spaces of freedom justice and participatory democracy, especially for the underdogs, that is, for the most needy who are now two-thirds of civil society.

mechanisms how to conquer immediate demands can be many, but it is postponed, at the present time, the call of all the productive forces of the country and also the middle classes to promote a general strike which undermines the foundation materials maintain the current fascist regime that is violating not only human rights but also has caused several deaths in the last three days of violent repression (some versions speak of 12 dead) under successive curfews and cut civil rights.

Only through the struggle of the organized population can reverse this political crisis "on high" and turn it into a revolutionary crisis that allows joining forces in pursuit of attaining power. The Honduran people can and should take power. The formation of a transitional government composed of representatives of the working classes is feasible, and feasible is the transformation of the old state to serve the powerful in a state to serve the majority. The timing could not be more timely now that the voices and fists rise as one man. Faith, courage and honor people of Honduras. Victory is Yours!

Orchestrating all (as far as achievement is concerned) estubo David Duprez doing a great direction The story was at the hands of Paco Saez, the layout and design part of my fault, and Ruben Harvey animation, and again with the postponing Duprez. In fact I think it's one of the jobs I most enjoyed doing, and from here just say one thing at all to strain me: Let's see when we do another!
